Returning control of schools to State and Local School Board members will benefit students and parents. They will be able to decide what is best for the students in our area rather than having someone make generic choices for all students in the country.

Student Achievement is our number one objective. This includes a 100% graduation rate and more important that we provide students with as many opportunities as we can for success after their K-12 career.

Building seismic upgrades/replacement are very much needed, but don’t seem to make the list of funded projects, due to budget constraints. This needs to be a higher priority with the funding models used by the State

As we have done in the past, we look for reductions that do not have a negative impact on the students. Not always possible, but the most important goal is to minimize the impact on students
